S.H.M
*warning:this post is quite kiasu and skema..
erm..this entry is about SHM..
what is SHM?
is it something about my friend,Syafiq Haziq Mahadi(SHM)?
no it is not.
but i dedicate this entry for him..hua ha ha..
actually,SHM is acronym for simple harmonic motion,one of physics topic.
SHM-a to and fro motion where the acceleration is directly proportional to the displacement from a fixed point and is always directed towards this point.
a)with time
1.displacement-time: Displacement (x) always measured from centre of oscillation.
Time (t) can be maesured from any point.
i) If t is measured from centre of oscillation:-
t = 0, x = 0
so, x = d sin ωt
where, d is maximum displacement in any direction
ω is angular frequency
t is period(ie time taken to complete 1oscillation)
ii) If t is measured from one end of oscillation:-
t = 0, x = d
so, x = d cos ωt
where, d is maximum displacement in any direction
ω is angular frequency
t is period(ie time taken to complete 1oscillation)
2. velocity-time: velocity = v cos ωt
where v is maximum velocity

a ∞ -xEquation in SHM
a = − ω2x
